그리운 자리

나는 순간순간 마주하는 자연의 모습과 불현듯 떠오르는 여러 감정들을 이미지화하여

이를 하나의 화폭에 담아 새로운 자연의 모습을 재창조하고 있다.

또한 종종 멸종 위기 동물과 식물들을 그림에 등장시키는데

이는 우리 주변 어딘가엔 우리가 알지 못하지만 그 존재가 점점 사라져가고 있기에 그 소중함을 알리고 싶었다.

펜촉과 샤프펜슬로 무수한 얇은 선을 쌓아 올려 그리는 작업 방식으로 자연의 시간성과 역사성을 담으려 했다.

나의 작업을 통해 자연이 가진 본연의 아름다움을 발견하는 것뿐만 아니라

그림 속의 다양한 요소들을 찾는 재미를 느끼며 우리의 삶 속에서 무심코 지나쳐버린 우리 주변 자연에 대한 의미를

다시 한번 생각하는 계기가 되었으면 하는 바람이다.

I translate the fleeting moments of nature I encounter and the emotions

that unexpectedly arise into images, recreating a new vision of nature on canvas.

I often depict endangered animals and plants in my work,

because I want to raise awareness of their precious existence, which is gradually fading away somewhere around us, though we may not always notice.

Through countless delicate lines drawn with pen nibs and mechanical pencils,

I strive to capture the temporality and history of nature.

I hope my work not only allows viewers to rediscover the inherent beauty of nature,

but also encourages them to enjoy the process of finding hidden elements within the artwork,

prompting them to reflect on the meaning of the nature that

surrounds us—often overlooked in our daily lives.
